The deputy of the BJP of the district of Hawa Mahal, Balmukund Echarya, carried out a “purification ceremony” to the municipal company to clean the civic body of “corruption” and to accommodate advisers of the turncoat congress in his party, saying that he will convert them to “Sanatanis”.
Mr. ACHARYA, who is also the Mahant of the Hathoj Dham Temple, said “Gangajal” and ‘Gaumutra‘(Cow urine) was sprinkled with civil servants and councilors of the municipal Jaipur Corporation Heritage (JMC) as part of the ceremony because they were forced to “engage in corruption”.
This decision follows the eviction of the former mayor of JMCH, Munesh Gurjar, who was withdrawn after having faced allegations of corruption. In its place, the BJP appointed Mayor Kusum Yadav who received the support of seven convention councilors and an independent. The eight advisers joined the BJP.
Before Ms. Yadav officially took an office at the JMCH office on Wednesday, September 25, the deputy for the BJP carried out the “purification ceremony” for advisers and civil servants.
“We have purified the company with” Gangajal “, by removing all impurities,” said Acharya, who led the ceremony with Vedic mantras and songs.
“Now, with the new mayor who will take care of, we will work in an environment of purity,” he said.
During the ceremony, Mr. Acharya sprinkled a mixture of “gangajal” and Gaumutra on the Congress advisers who joined the BJP, saying that this transformed them into “Sanatanis”.
“They were cleaned with any impurity or corruption,” said Acharya.
The head of the BJP said that even the officials of the municipal company were subject to the purification process because “they were under the influence of impurity” and were “forced to engage in corruption”.
“But now, after this ceremony, they have been cleaned and will work with honesty and integrity,” said Mr. ACHARYA.
The unusual ceremony raised a few eyebrows, but the advisers who went to the BJP said that the ceremony was intended to rid the corruption and negativity society. “It is a normal practice in Hindu culture to use” gangajal “and ‘Gaumutra“For purification,” said advisor Manoj Mudgal.
Paras Jain, another advisor, echoes the feeling, adding: “Rooma Ji was ritual to clean the corruption office.”
Advisor Sushila Devi said that the intention was not to qualify a corrupt person. “He purified all the locals, not only us,” said Devi.
Mr. ACHARYA, addressing journalists, stressed that the ceremony symbolized a new start for the JMCH. “From today, this company is without corruption,” he said.
Reacting to the “purification ceremony”, the secretary general of the state of the congress, Swarnim Chaturvedi, said that it is strange that all those who defection the congress to join the BJP “are absolved of all their sins”.
“The leaders of the BJP in the state and the center first accuse the leaders of the Congress of Corruption. They are threatened by the investigative agencies like ED, TI and CBI, but when they join the BJP, they are absolved of their crimes,” said Chaturvedi.
