R. Kelly hospitalized after an alleged overdose in prison, say lawyers

Lawyers for Regraced R& B Superstar R. Kelly Let’s say that the singer was taken to the hospital, alleging that he had undergone an “overdose” caused by officials of a North Carolina prison where he is currently hosted.

Sources have however told ABC News that R. Kelly had been taken to hospital for two days for routine medical care and was released and is currently in prison.

Kelly is portion a sentence of 30 years in prison in North Carolina after being sentenced Before the Federal Court in 2021 racketeering and violation of the Mann law, a law on sexual traffic, including sexual relations with minor girls.

A file submitted by Kelly’s lawyer, handsome P Brindley, and obtained by ABC News, alleys poor management from the American prisons.

The file also alleges that Kelly was denied surgery by police officers who accompanied the singer in the establishment.

The prisons office said in a statement to ABC News: “For reasons of confidentiality, security and security, we do not discuss the conditions of containment for any person imprisoned, including medical and health issues. In addition, the prisons office does not comment on current disputes or questions that are the subject of legal proceedings.”

The singer “I think I can fly” was also guilty In 2022 on accusations of sexual crime, in particular the production of juvenile pornography and attractive minors to engage in a sexual activity, in his second federal trial.

A federal judge in Chicago sentenced R. Kelly, born Robert Sylvester Kelly, at 20 years in prison in 2023 for these convictions.

However, the conviction added one more year to his prison sentence, because Kelly will serve 19 years simultaneously with his New York prison sentence, the Chicago ABC Wls station. It would then be required to serve a year in the case of Chicago.

A Kelly lawyer did not immediately respond to a request for comments.
