Hyderabad: Telangana assembly speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar will hear the versions of four of the ten defector MLAs, who had joined the Congress after winning the legislative elections on the BRS lists, Monday and Wednesday.The hearing will take place on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the possibility of cross-examination of the applicants and respondents. The remaining six defectors are expected to be summoned for questioning by the President after the Dasara festival.T Prakash Goud (Rajendranagar), Kale Yadaiah (Chevella), Gudem Mahipal Reddy (Patancheru) and Bandla Krishnamohan Reddy (Jogulamba Gadwal) are the defector legislators scheduled to appear in the hearing. They claimed that they had not joined the Congress and were still members of the BRS party. They said they met Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy in connection with developmental works in their respective constituencies.THE Supreme Court had asked the speaker to respond to requests for disqualification within three months, i.e. by the end of October.
