A doctor from Columbus was charged as part of the The largest action for applying the country’s health care fraud by the federal government, according to reports.
The 44-year-old Columbus podiatrist was charged on June 19 in the southern district of Florida and accused of a conspiracy chief to defraud the United States and receive healthcare jars and three counts of health care cottons.
The accusations of man are part of a broader investigation by the Fraud Strike Force Medicare and includes 601 defendants in 58 federal districts, including 76 doctors, as well as nurses and other approved health professionals.
