By Julie Manganis (November 14, 2025, 4:26 PM EST) — A Massachusetts police union president who was convicted of a kickback scheme and sentenced to 2.5 years in prison should receive at least that much time when he is punished following a First Circuit ruling largely upholding the verdict, prosecutors said, calling the initial punishment a “godsend.”
