A Mexican mafia from Texas Leader was sentenced last week to 25 years in federal prison for his role in a methamphetamine trafficking plot. David Botallo, 54, who relies on the nicknames “Torito”, “Bully” and “Bully-Man”, of San Antonio, was a “lieutenant lieutenant” in the Mexican mafia of Texas and had pleaded guilty.
BotOllo was taken in an investigation led by the DEA which began in July 2020. On July 28, 2020, he was arrested by the San Antonio police during a traffic stop after the police discovered that he was driving without a license. BOOTO also proved to be in possession of approximately 150 grams of methamphetamine, nine new mobile phones and $ 585.
A more in -depth investigation revealed that Botallo was conspired with other Mexican mafia members of Texas to own and distribute large amounts of methamphetamine.
On April 21, 2021, Botallo was charged in three counts of 14 counts which included 11 co-accused. With two accusations related to methamphetamine trafficking, Botox was also accused of being a criminal in possession of a firearm. He had already been convicted of murder and aggravated theft with a deadly weapon.
BOOTOLLO pleaded guilty on December 11, 2024, to a conspiracy chief to distribute and have with the intention of distributing more than 500 grams of methamphetamine.
