Nineteen members or associates of the gang of the Mexican mafia prison were charged by the office of the County Prosecutor of Los Angeles for their roles in a plot to assassinate the rapper Swifty Blue, popular on social networks, for the infractions perceived against the Mexican mafia.

The Office of Major Crimes of the Sheriff’s Department of Los Angeles County and the FBI Safe Streey Street Stree Working Group investigated the Mexican Mafia attempts to locate, and assassinate Nelson Abrego, which occurs under the name of “Swifty Blue”, a plot that started about December 2022.

Green light

The plot to assassinate the victim would have been coordinated by Manuel “Snuffy” Quintero, member of the Mexican mafia and several high -ranking partners of the Mexican mafia. The coordination of the murder conspiracy occurred in the County region of Los Angeles, in the Californian penitentiary system and within the Los Angeles County prison.

Manuel “SNUFFY” Quintero

According to investigators and assistant district prosecutors who filed the announced case, Quintero, a member of the Mexican mafia designated by co-conspirators in coded language as “the elegant”, placed “Blue Swifty” on the “Green-Light” list, which means that it was marked for death.

An armed mexican mafia partner would have returned to the rapper’s family’s family in the efforts to find and kill him after another Mexican mafia partner followed him on social networks, learning his location.

During the investigation, a Mexican mafia partner learned that “Blue Swifty” was arrested and imprisoned as a detainee in Los Angeles County prison. The Mexican mafia detainees in Mexican mafia management positions, allegedly called the Mexican mafia, the appellants in a California prison and the partners in the streets to confirm the Green Statute of the Victim.

When the status of green light has been confirmed, the Mexican mafia associates in the County Los Angeles prison attacked the rapper, using a weapon. Swifty Blue was transported to hospital for treatment of her injuries. When the Mexican mafia shot the appellants learned that it had survived the attack, they would have started a new plan to find and kill it. “Swifty Blue” was released from prison a few days later before he could be attacked again.
