New York South District | Ten members of the Bronx Gang “Dub City” charged with racketeering and several shots related to gangs

Damian Williams, United States lawyer for the South New York district, Ivan J. Arvelo, the special agent in charge of the New York Field Office of Homeland Security Investigations (“HSI”), and Keechant L. Sewell, the commissioner of the New York Police Service (NYPD “, announced the non-priced charge of Melving, Bruce Silva, / K / A “Bruce”. A / K / A “BG”, Jordan Bennett A / K / A “Billy Bandz”, A / K / A “J Bills”, Elijah Pough, A / K / A “Eli”, Shadell McBride, A / K / A “Deli”, Justin Ballester, A / K / A “J-Gunz” A / K / A “Karrot”, Gabriel Valdez / K / A “Wolf” and Emmanuel Perez, A / K / A “Manny”, A / K / A “Haven”, with a racketeering plot, narcotics of narcotics, a street gang based in the Bronx, New York. Silva, Melvin, Pough and McBride are also accused of attempted murder and aggression with a fatal weapon in favor of the racketeering in the context of their participation in several shots in the Bronx. The case is assigned to the United States district judge Lorna G. Schofield.

Silva and McBride are currently in police custody in connection with the related federal accusations. Valdez is in police custody. Melvin, Bennett, Pough, Saleh, Rodriguez and Perez were arrested this morning in the Bronx and should be presented later in the day before the magistrate Jennifer E. Willis. Ballester is currently in freedom.

The American lawyer, Damian Williams, said: “As presumed, over a period of several years, the members of the Gang of Dub City have enriched themselves by repeated fraud, devoted drugs to the Bronx, carried firearms and terrorized districts of the Bronx by pulling several times on other people.

Special agent HSI responsible Ivan J. Arvelo said: “As in this indictment, these ten people are committed to a variety of violent crimes that terrorized the community in the pursuit of their gang business in the city of Dub. paralyze the individual.

NYPD Commissioner, Keechant L. Sewell, said: “The accusations of today highlight the commitment of the NYPD and our law enforcement partners to identify, stop and continue any person who participates in illegal gang activities. The “Dub City” gang is a criminal organization based in the sections of the MT Hope and Morris Heights of the Bronx, New York. A map of the Dub City territory is below:

Since at least 2019, gang members have sold drugs, committed flights, committed financial fraud, used firearms and committed many acts of violence in the pursuit of the Dub City gang, including shots against rival gang members and other members of Dub City Gang. The violence committed by the defendants included shots where innocent passers -by were affected, in one case, causing permanent paralysis.

This case is treated by the unity of violent and organized crime of the office. American assistant lawyers Michael R. Herman, Matthew J. King, Jacob R. Fiddelman and Mathew Andrews are in charge of the accusation.
