Olivia Pratt-Korbel, nine, was deadly shot dead on August 22, 2022, when a shooter burst into his house in Liverpool, in what would have been a success related to organized crime. The little girl attended the St Margaret Mary school and lived with her mother Cheryl on Kingsheath avenue.
During the night of the tragedy, video surveillance images show two men walking along Kingsheath avenue near Olivia’s house. A man wearing a black padded jacket, a black hood with a peak, dark leggings and black gloves approached the pair, which immediately fled.
Hearing the noise, Cheryl, Olivia’s mother, opening the door to discover what was going on. One of the men fleeing the shooter noticed the opening of the front door and ran into the house to hide. Cheryl tried to close the door, but the shooter pulled through the opening in the door, hitting Olivia in the chest and Cheryl on the wrist.
The little girl was transported urgently to hospital, but her injuries were too serious and they couldn’t save her.
Murder and chaos in Liverpool
The death of Olivia Pratt-Korbel was tragic, but it was not the only murder linked to the activity of the crime organized in Liverpool that week. Three other people were killed in Merseyside In the space of a few days.
Sam Rimmer, 22, was shot dead on August 16 in Dingle, while Ashley Dale, 28, was killed early in the morning of August 21 in the backyard of his former Cygne residence. The next day, Karen Dempsey, 55, died in the hospital after being stabbed in a Kirkby Pub parking lot.

Operation Miller – Repression of organized crime
