The United States Supreme Court refused on Monday to resume a petition to cancel a decision of the fourth circuit which noted that the banks could not be held responsible for the transfers of fraudulent funds made from their accounts without having “real knowledge” according to which there were differences between the beneficiary targeted and the account receiving the deposit.
