The police are difficult work. Knowledge, experience, patience and a little luck. To catch hardened criminals is not like shooting fish in a barrel. Or is it? Last week HBO, tonight, looked at gang databases in the United States and how people find themselves listed inside. It turns out that little reflection has entered the selection process.

John Oliver discusses gang databases, how the police decide who to put it and massive problems caused by errors due to disarticulated selection methods. We even treated an old but gold when the singer LV interprets the classic gangsta paradise.
