Three main figures from the Almighty Vice-Lord-Nation were sentenced last week to a federal court after a jury condemned them with a plot Rico, murder, drug trafficking and weapons on April 23 of this year.

The Almighty Vice-Lord-Nation (AVLN) is considered a vast criminal enterprise that has committed acts of violence, drug trafficking, arms offenses and other crimes across the country. The AVLN is divided into different branches, each with its own direction which responds to a “advice” in Chicago. The trial involved members of itinerant vice-lies in Detroit, Michigan.

The three men found guilty of racketeering, murder, drugs and firearms are Terry Douglas, 44, from Detroit, who held the title of “chief” and was the chief of Michigan of the itinerant vice-lies; Schuyler Belew, 31, from Detroit, who held the title “Universal Elite” and was the leader of Detroit of itinerant vice-lords; And Devun Baskerville, 34, of Detroit, who held the title of “Chief Enforcer” for the itinerant vice-lords.

Douglas and Belew were both sentenced to 60 years in prison. Baskerville was sentenced to 70 years in prison.

The evidence at the trial has shown that these Avln bosses worked together in various fields to help extend the influence of the gang. In this case, the jury heard testimonies concerning a cheeky shooting which took place in broad daylight in a Strait park.

In this shooting, Baskerville, acting on the orders of Douglas and Belew, murdered an individual suspected of cooperating with the police and tried to kill his girlfriend when he pulled several times in his vehicle when she was trying to flee. Her two young children, who miraculously, were not injured. The girlfriend, who was pregnant at the time, suffered from the ball injury but survived.

The jury also condemned Lawon Carter of drug trafficking and arms offenses. Carter’s conviction is scheduled for April 28, 2025.
