Costa Rica faces its worst scandal of corruption Narco

The recent arrest of the former Minister of Security of Costa Rica and the revelations of his case highlighted the corruption and drug trafficking networks engulfing the government in what could be the most important drug scandal in the history of the country.

On June 23, Celso Gamboa Sánchez, who was Costa Rica Minister from 2014 to 2014 to 2014, was arrested in the capital, San José, following an extradition request by the United States.
